An aspiring sports-star. A failed musician. A couple drifting apart. Teenagers fleetingly coming together. A desperate father. An over-confident young man. A woman looking for a way out. For only one night they come together, entering an indiscriminate downtown bar where hopes, dreams and regrets mix with alcohol, sweat and hormones. Their lives briefly intersect on a night which is paradoxically unique and yet just like any other in the bar. Through the rising emotions and lowering inhibitions, what remains constant is the soundtrack, the evening’s inhabitants of the bar pushed and pulled through the night by a throbbing energy and beat provided by the houseband.
